Reading empowers people to achieve their goals and participate fully in the community, Literacy Volunteers strives to provde free, quality tutoring and encouragement for all who want to learn to read, write and speak English.
Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe (LVSF) is a non-profit organization established in 1985. Because of the great demand for literacy services in the area, the program has grown to support the work of more than 150 volunteer tutors working with more than 800 students annually. These photographs are from the 2004 July benefit program and dinner.
