Sunday, February 25, 2007. The College of Santa Fe's 16th Annual Red Carpet Gala. Guests dressed up in their most glamorous attire and enjoyed an evening of superb food, libations, and a silent auction filled with exceptional art, jewelry, and temptations. Large viewing screens displayed a live broadcast of Hollywood's 79th Annual Academy Awards. Tickets ranged from $150 to $10,000 for a Gold Table Sponsor. All the proceeds from the Red Carpet Gala benefit the College of Santa Fe's scholarship programs. New Mexico State Senator Luciano "Lucky" Varela, a graduate of the College of Santa Fe, was honored at this year's Red Carpet Gala.
